As a neuroscientist, I was tasked with experimenting and analyzing data from brain cells.
​
Once I gathered the data, my job was to decipher it using MATLAB and other tools. With these software, I could clean the data, identify trends and patterns, and then present my findings in a visual, accessible format with Excel and Igor-Pro.
​
In addition to analyzing and presenting the data, I used the collected data and performed computer simulations. These simulations analyzed brain signals which revealed the mechanisms and computation processes within brain cells that contribute to memory and reasoning behind decision-making processes.

My data collection, data analysis, publications, and academic studies have helped my laboratory and collaborating laboratories to increase their prestige and influence factor in the scientific world.

After working in the neuroscience research field for 9 years, I’ve decided to leverage my data analysis expertise to help companies facilitate a data-driven product design process.
